We encourage all of our members to support this ride and the very worthwhile cause it promotes. | Sun, July 18 | 3 rd “Meet in the Middle” ride to Port Stanley. We will be leaving the Tim Hortons at Hwy 20 and Old Merritville Hwy at 8am and riding to Port Stanley where we will meet up with several other chapters for lunch. | Fri-Sun, July 30-Aug 1 | Annual Clothing Optional One Night Stand ride to Wellsboro PA., which will be a “Two” night stand this year. For anyone wondering, Clothing Optional refers to the fact that PA has no helmet law and Two Night Stand to the fact that we will be staying overnight. This year, we will leave Front Park in Buffalo N.Y., which is right at the end of the Peace Bridge, on Friday night at 6:00pm and should take about three hours. For those unable to leave on Friday night, a second group will leave from the same place on Saturday morning at 9:00am and will take the same route. This area has some of the best riding around and is a weekend that everyone seems to come back for every year. Some of us have already booked rooms at the Penn Wells Lodge, where we stayed last year. | Fri-Sun, Aug 27-29 | Sudbury to take part in Chapter 418’s “Ride to the Wall” to honor our nations veterans. We will be leaving Niagara at 9am on Friday morning and returning Sunday afternoon. | New Years Eve Party | Lastly, we regret to have to announce that at this time, we have decided that due to declining participation, we will have to cancel our New Years Eve Party. Those who attended our last one all had a great night but unfortunately, our club cannot afford the cost of subsidizing this event. If there seems to be enough support, we can surely start doing this again in the future. | . |
